What do you think about having a temporary tattoo that can act as an EEG by reading your brain activity printed directly to your head?! 

EEGs are used in the medical arenas to help assess many disorders from Alzheimers to stroke, seizures to brain injury, and other types of brain injury to name a few.

Recently, as reported in Cell Biomaterials, scientists indicated the could now custom print a stable temporary tattoo with connectivity of 24 hours using a microjet nozzle.  It doesn’t utilize needles, but rather creates an incredibly thin film on the scalp without the need to shave the area.  The technology uses a 3-D scanner to plot the placement points.

Future applications?  Think rehab, cardiac, pain management….

These won’t be tattoos Vanish Laser will be helping people take off with laser tattoo removal since they are only in place for a short period of time, but we think it’s incredibly cool!!
