How It Works

During a laser Hair removal procedure, our Astanza Etherea laser will utilize light energy to target hair follicles in your skin. Through these lasers procedures hair growth can be effectively stopped.

Depending on the area of your hair removal treatment, Vanish DFW will use different sized filters to specifically target the area(s) of concern.  The energy from the laser is emmitted in  pulses and is absorbed by the hair follicle. Upon absorption, the follicles heat up and hair production is hampered.

With a series of treatments, the various follicles that make up the hair growth pattern will continue to be targeted by our laser until they do not grow hair. Multiple treatments are required to achieve complete removal or significant reduction of hair.

Since our lasers’ energy is specifically designed to target hair follicles, it keeps the surrounding cells and skin tissue safe from becoming damaged. Therefore, scarring is extremely rare.
