Collagen PIN Microneedling

What happens during the treatment?

The treatment starts by cleaning the area to be treated and applying a numbing cream. With the installation of a brand new and sterile needle cartridge on the Collagen PIN device, the clinician will glide the device across your skin while the device mechanically controls the microneedles inside the cartridge to treat your skin in a very precise and safe manner. Treatment typically takes as little as 30 minutes, and patients commonly report positive skin transformation as soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment.

How many Treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed to achieve the patient’s expected results will be determined during the consultation with the trained clinician, but to achieve optimal results, it is typically recommended to perform a series of 4 to 6 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart.

What is the after-treatment care?

Microneedling is an in-office treatment with little to no downtime. Following the procedure, your skin will be red and flushed in appearance, similar to a sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness, mild sensitivity, a mild burning sensation, and pinpoint bruising on the treatment area. Your skin may be sensitive to exposure to sunlight for several days. It’s also common to notice minor skin peeling or flaking in the days following treatment as the skin regenerates.
