Dr. Heather Wright, BS, DC, CCEP, Board Certified (NBCE) in Chiropractic Acupuncture is a Weatherford native. She has taken pride in helping people through her practice for over 22 years.

One of Dr. Wright’s favorite things is to make people feel better, whether that is through her healthcare practice or through aesthetics.  Her passion for helping people coupled with a significant knowledge base allows Dr. Wright to offer her patients & clients excellent, caring service.

Education

She received her Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University where she attended on full scholarship. She went on to study at Palmer Chiropractic College- the oldest chiropractic school in the world- where she attended on 2 recruitment scholarships. Dr. Wright then achieved a postgraduate certification as a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner in 2003. Dr. Wright later became a certified laser and SRF Microneedling technician and achieved a Board Certification (NBCE) in Acupuncture in 2019.

A Bit More

In addition to running a busy healthcare practice as well as Vanish Skin Aesthetics & Laser Tattoo Removal, Dr. Wright has been a speaker for many local events and has trained other doctors internationally through continuing education.  She wrote a regular newspaper column for many years addressing health issues and is always educating herself further on medical related topics from aesthetics to pediatrics, acupuncture to chiropractic, and orthopedics to nutrition.

She has been voted top chiropractor in Parker County many times and has felt blessed to be part of the active healthcare community.  In 2011, she was a bone marrow donor and later learned that her donation saved a young woman’s life.  She has enjoyed giving back to the community in a variety of ways including fostering cats and dogs, adopting military platoons through her practice and sending care packages, sponsoring seniors in pageants and during Christmas, raising supplies for local charities, and sponsoring little league teams.

I have been with Vanish Laser DFW for many years now. When I am away from the laser, you can find me outside with my family or at a barrel race with my horses. I enjoy meeting everyone and hearing the story behinds the tattoos that we are removing. I LOVE seeing the before and after of everyone’s treatment. My biggest goal for when a client comes in is to provide a “no judgment” environment. I truly want to be your friend by the time you leave.

I started working with Vanish DFW in July 2023. At the time of certification, I was one of the youngest people in Texas able to achieve the Certified Laser Tech status. When I’m not at work I’m usually with family or friends spending time outdoors. I am an avid tattoo receiver which allows me to relate to my patients.

My biggest goal for someone coming to receive a treatment is for them to understand more about how the lasers work and the fascinating way the body gets the ink out.  After about your third treatment with me, I guarantee that you will probably know my life story.
